Equatorial Mount Astro-3
This is a simple yet sturdy equatorial mount for comparatively small telescopes. The mount itself weighs around 5 kgs including its aluminium tripod.
You will get the mount head itself, one counterweight, the adjustable height aluminium tripod (80-120cm) and two flexible shafts for slow-motion control in both axes.
Capacity:
The mount solidly carries Newtonians up to 130mm aperture, refractors up to 90mm (short focal length versions up to 100mm) and Maksutov-Cassegrains up to 130mm aperture. The telescope should not weigh more than 4 kgs.
Quick Exchange Coupling:
The Astro-3 already features a quick exchange coupling (a rare property of such small mounts). You just need to lock or unlock one single screw in order to attach or remove the telescope. The dovetail plate remains fixed on the telescope. The standard version of this mount does not come with a dovetail plate.
