"Hi everybody, I have a VIXEN GP with the Vixen original motors. My question is: Does anyone know how can I modify the VIXEN control to use the mount for autoguiding?
Thank you for your responses."

Respuesta 1:
http://www.goto4all.de/overview.htm has a rather nice retrofit kit for
the Autostar system on GP style mounts. About $170 USD
Bryan

Me preguntaron entonces:
"Which model of Vixen controller do you have??"
Christopher Erickson

Mi respuesta:
"Hi again, thank everybody for the answers. The controller is the DD-1(Dual-Axis Controller), the model is the AM-HC-3740. My mount is the standard GP, I suppose that the controller is the same for the GP and GPDX mounts."

Me respondieron a esto ultimo:
"Yes"

Otra respuesta:
" I am just about to modify my GPDX mount and DD-1 controller using
a: GPINT-AH ($35), the GPKIT-EQ ($7) and a cable e.g. 14 feet GPFC- 14 ($5). from Shoestring astronomy www.ShoestringAstronomy.com There are links to more local agents - possibly one in Spain! Good luck
Francis"

Le respondí:
"Hi Francis,
Thank you very much for the information. I know that web, In fact I wrote an email to Doug asking my question but he was no sure how to make the connections with the kits. I see you know how to do.
Could you explain me how to do the connections?
The procedure to modify the controller for autoguidin is the same in the GP and GPDX mounts..isn't it?
THKS"

Respuesta:
"Yes. If you type LX200 emulator into Google you will see a Dutch
site listed ( http://www.technoplus.nl/astro/lx200.htm ) at the top
of the page is a link to different scope mount types with photographs
(or links to photos) you should find what you need there"

Pues esa es la historia, hasta la fecha no me he atrevido a seguir con el tema del autoguiado de esta montura pero a ver si lo retomo.
Un saludo
