Re: Proyecto SEDA-WDS
Por supuesto Jlperan, puedes unirte. Bienvenido.

Re: Proyecto SEDA-WDS
Hola doblistas,
Children like playing with the lizards in the afternoon. Astronomers are finally like children at the difference they play with the Lizard just before dawn.
In order to give some motivation to the troops for the SEDA-WDS program, these are some images from the observing list.
Thank you Edgar, Rafa and Juan-Luis for this initiative and the hard work you did on the website https://sites.google.com/site/sedawds/. I hope that many reports will be posted (https://sites.google.com/site/sedawds/)
From left to right A 1450, HO 177, ES1177, HO 291. A series of large magnitude difference, by chance the separations are large.
Another series :
ES1342, STI2654, STI2656, MLB 993.
Easier to image but the STI are a bit more difficult to locate.
More to come ...
Un abrazo
Florent

Measures, more measures... please...
With this job, SEDA-WDS will be an absolute success!!
Many thanks.
PS: Edgar will soon put a news section on the SEDA website where you can see the progress of the project. At the moment, news are very good.

Re: Proyecto SEDA-WDS
Hola amigos,
Thank you for your words, I hope you are all on the project. Such a coordinated program is a chance for us, its success will be your measurements and a large participation.
From left to right ES1465, BAR 58, STI2739 and ES 104.
The neglected doubles show often very interesting things and are a good field for discoveries.
I splitted the secondary of ES1465 in two stars separated by 1".
STI2739 is accompanied by several faint stars. Two are closer (38°9/8"90, 331°8"89) than the main components but are a bit too wide to be of interest, nonetheless the view is very pretty.
Finally ES 104 hides a moderately close companion between the main components. It's funny to see how the three components of ES1465 and ES 104 are quasi perfectly aligned !
More to come soon ...
Florent

Re: Proyecto SEDA-WDS
... as promised
A 1464, FOX 267, ES 840. Esay to see why they are neglected
Easier
STF2902CD, STI2764 & STI2810. The STI own precise coordinates in the WDS but aren't located at these coordinates. It happens quite often with the STI.
STI2764 shows a third component @36°5/3"98
to be continued ...
